Role Summary
Provide strategic leadership and end-to-end ownership of distribution, warehousing, and logistics operations across multiple sites (CFA / warehouses), ensuring service excellence, regulatory compliance, cost optimization, and scalable operational efficiency aligned with business growth.
Distribution & Logistics Leadership
- Lead and govern end-to-end distribution and logistics operations across all channels.
- Ensure seamless execution of order-to-delivery cycle (billing, dispatch, customer servicing).
- Drive adherence to SOPs, SLAs, GDP, and compliance standards.
Inventory & Network Efficiency
- Ensure optimal inventory availability across CFA locations aligned to demand plans.
- Drive inventory health (availability, ageing, slow/non-moving stock).
- Optimize distribution network for cost, service, and responsiveness.
Financial & Credit Control
- Monitor receivables and drive timely collection in alignment with business targets.
- Ensure coordination with commercial and finance teams to manage credit exposure.
- Drive cost optimization in logistics and warehousing operations.
Operational Excellence
- Review operational KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leverage digital tools, analytics, and automation to enhance efficiency.
- Drive standardization under One Warehouse concept.
Project & Transformation Management
- Lead new product launch readiness including distribution and compliance.
- Execute strategic initiatives like automation and warehouse expansion.
- Drive cross-functional SCM transformation projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Manufacturing, QA, Regulatory, Finance, and Sales teams.
- Ensure timely and compliant deliveries to customers and partners.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Build and mentor high-performing teams.
- Drive a culture of ownership, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Enhance digital and audit readiness capability.
Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Drive audit readiness and aim for zero critical observations.
- Maintain robust documentation and SOP adherence.
Key Skill Requirements
- Expertise in Distribution, Warehousing, and Logistics network design
- Strong knowledge of GxP, GDP, FDA and regulatory compliance in pharma supply chains
- Inventory planning, working capital optimization, and network efficiency
- Financial acumen in logistics cost management, budgeting, and credit control
- Digital and analytics orientation (WMS, SAP, Power BI, automation tools)
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Leadership capability in building high-performance teams and driving culture change
- Strong audit readiness mindset with focus on zero-compliance deviations
