Role Title: System Engineer IND Position Summary: Under the limited direction of a supervisor, the Systems Engineer II is responsible for providing design, integration, and management of complex systems, including building and running Infrastructure & Cloud Services, focused on producing high-quality solutions and improving existing technology systems through orchestration and automation. The Systems Engineer II will focus on enhancing existing processes and developing and implementing solutions through various technology disciplines. The Systems Engineer II collaborates with infrastructure engineers, software engineers, chapter leads, service and product owners, and other multidisciplinary staff based on shared goals and agile practices.
This is a hands-on position that will work side by side with other team members throughout the Infrastructure and Cloud Product and Service Organization. As a cross-functional team member, the Systems Engineer II will be flexible, participate in mutual understanding, and continuously evaluate processes. Job Responsibilities: Plan: *Provide estimates for own work effort for product sprints and service kanban. *Participate as SME in recommending technology solutions to the product team. *Participate as SME in the maintenance and upgrade tasks for services supported. *Participate as SME in resolving incidents and fulfilling requests escalated to service Run: *Assist with root cause analysis for problems related to services.
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation. Build: *Complete related technical work effort. *Communicate blockers and requests for help for agile teams. System Reliability: *Improve the reliability of high-scale systems by using automation to improve the process, the environment, and the technology stack. *Leverage automation where possible to ease/eliminate manual tasks. *Transition products and features to the service organization by leveraging automation wherever possible, including updating records systems and creating\updating wikis.
Skill and Experience : 3+ years of experiencerequired to perform essential job functions. Additional Experience Qualifier (optional): 3+ years of experience in application support, infrastructure support, database, server administration, information technology, platform services, or another related discipline. A focus on scripting and automation.

Ability to multi-task and change priorities with effective results Decision-making Requirements Should be capable of deciding when a proposed/requested/potential change introduces unwarranted or unacceptable user experience, security risk, or operational impact and communicating issues to more senior team members for guidance in such situations.
Must decide when escalation of an issue is warranted. Person is expected to keep service levels high and corporate efforts on track by using experience, interpersonal skills, and time management to balance competing priorities from the office and home office IT staff with moderate management supervision. Must Have Skills: MS365 Admin SharePoint MS Teams MS Copilot Graph API Entra ID Excellent Communication Responsibilities: SharePoint Online troubleshooting (permissions, search, performance, sharing) Microsoft Teams administration using UI and PowerShell Microsoft Teams and SharePoint integration (basic) Microsoft 365 tenant administration (basic operations) Power Automate flow design and development (standard use cases like Form > SharePoint List) Power Automate error handling and troubleshooting PowerShell scripting for automation (basic scripts) ITIL Incident Management and support ticket handling (execution + triage) Agile delivery principles sprint participation, backlog contribution Copilot (M365) fundamentals and use case understanding Data access and permissions awareness for Copilot/Graph Awareness of Entra ID (users, groups, access basics) Awareness of App registrations and enterprise applications Awareness of Microsoft Graph API usage Awareness of REST API and JSON handling Awareness of security and compliance for M365 Education and Certifications: 4 Year/ bachelors degree required.
