Technical IT Project Manager (12-month FTC)

About the role

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of complex IT projects across infrastructure, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity domains. They ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business and security objectives while maintaining high standards of governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex IT projects from initiation to completion.
• Apply Waterfall and Agile methodologies to plan, schedule, and track project activities.
• Prepare and maintain high‑quality project documentation and artefacts for operational handover.
• Implement change management principles and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and external vendors to ensure alignment with firm objectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate project progress, status, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background with experience in IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.
• Proven project delivery experience with complex, multi‑domain projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability, with ability to adapt project focus and resource allocation quickly.
