Technical Sales Manager

Job Description

Area: Asia Pacific: reporting to Sales Director in APAC.

Candidate: should ideally be from a Sales/Technical background with minimum of 5 years ASD experience

Qualifications: Degree educated

English/Chinese Language

Experience Networking with M&E Consultant EngineersWorking with contractors & End users on Fire detection systemsTechnical knowledge on Fire detection design and operationKnowledge of Fire Protection Market in AsiaHands-on knowledge on testing and commissioning ASD

Main Objective is to support Sales Strategy in APAC with specification and brand awareness: i.e. to provide technical sales support to Account managers, qualify technical designs, provide ASD design support to consultants & distributors. A secondary objective will be to manage ASD training for all stakeholders in APAC.

Duties Recognize main 8 major drivers of ASDTechnical support of ASD including Design verification and on-site support/project meetingsPrepare technical presentations for training and technical meetingsSupport Distributors both commercial and technicalSupport Sales team with technical demonstration to stakeholdersBuild up intelligence of major projects for e.g. to be carried out in Region (Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, Taiwan)Liaising and coordinating with INTERCO Business development managers in other Regions

The successful individual will be specifically targeted or rewarded by revenue, There is a necessity to monitor achievement to gauge success of initiative and bonus reward. To this end documentation of initiatives and regular reporting are essential.
