Job Description: Test Manager – Core BankingRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Test Manager with a strong background in Core Banking systems to lead end-to-end testing initiatives for large-scale banking programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain knowledge in banking along with proven experience in managing testing lifecycles, teams, and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage end-to-end testing delivery across Core Banking applicationsDefine and implement test strategies, test plans, and governance frameworksDrive SIT, UAT, Regression, and Integration testing phases effectivelyManage and mentor a team of QA/Test Engineers, ensuring quality deliverablesCollaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teamsEnsure alignment with banking compliance, risk, and regulatory requirementsTrack and report test progress, defects, risks, and quality metrics to leadershipDrive defect management and resolution across multiple stakeholdersIdentify opportunities for test optimization and process improvementsRequired Skills & Experience8–10 years of experience in Software Testing, with recent experience as a Test ManagerStrong experience in Banking Domain, preferably in Core Banking systemsHands-on experience managing large-scale testing programsStrong understanding of testing methodologies and lifecycle (STLC)Experience handling cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholdersExposure to test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps or similar)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsGood to HaveExperience in UOB or similar banking environmentsExposure to test automation frameworks/toolsCertifications such as ISTQB, Agile, or PMPExperience in Agile / Scrum delivery modelsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong ownership mindset and ability to drive quality independentlyExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to handle high-pressure banking projects with tight timelines
