We are seeking an experienced Transformation Project Manager to lead and coordinate critical initiatives within our global transformation program. This role will oversee the planning and execution of complex projects, ensuring that transformation initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.
The Transformation Project Manager will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to drive large-scale operational improvements and infrastructure upgrades, with exposure extending across our global project portfolio rather than a single site or region.
This role requires strong project leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams within a global environment. This is a senior position, and the successful candidate should be positioned to take on broader Global Projects responsibility as our transformation program scales.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Lead the delivery of complex, cross-functional transformation projects within the manufacturing network.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with transformation objectives.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams across engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.
Program Coordination
- Work closely with transformation leadership to ensure alignment with the broader transformation roadmap.
- Track and manage interdependencies between projects and operational initiatives.
- Support governance processes including project reviews, steering committees, and reporting structures.
Global Projects Coordination
- Lead or co-lead select projects with global or multi-region scope, coordinating across sites and geographies rather than a single facility.
- Partner with the Global Projects function to align local and regional initiatives with global program standards, timelines, and reporting.
- Build working relationships with global engineering and transformation stakeholders to support readiness to take on a Global Projects role.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage and collaborate with site leadership, engineering teams, and global functions to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage relationships with external partners, contractors, and technology suppliers.
Change Management
- Support the implementation of new processes, technologies, and operational models.
- Work with site teams to ensure smooth adoption and integration of transformation initiatives.
Risk & Performance Management
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and escalation points.
- Monitor project performance and ensure corrective actions are taken where required
What you will do
- Lead the planning and execution of key projects within a global supply chain transformation program.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and external partners.
- Oversee the implementation of manufacturing upgrades, operational improvements, and infrastructure initiatives across multiple sites.
- Take on projects with global or multi-region scope, working directly with the Global Projects function as needed.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution.
- Monitor and report on project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators to senior leadership.
- Ensure effective communication and alignment across stakeholders involved in transformation initiatives.
- Support change management activities, helping site teams adopt new processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
Qualification & Skills
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years' experience managing complex projects within manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional transformation or operational improvement projects.
- Strong project management, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in multi-site or international project environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex project timelines.
- Demonstrated readiness to take on projects with global scope, and to progress into a Global Projects role.
Preferred:
- Experience working in FMCG, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience leading supply chain transformation or manufacturing network optimization programs.
- Prior exposure to global project management, global engineering functions, or multi-region program leadership.
