Treasury Analyst
TravelPerk
Job Description
About The Role
The Treasury Team plays a key role in managing Perk's financial operations, ensuring the right liquidity is in place across accounts and currencies to keep the business running smoothly. As a Treasury Analyst, you'll own core cash management activities – from monitoring balances and executing short‑term borrowing and investments, to managing FX hedging at both an operational and strategic level. You'll act as the primary point of contact with banks and key stakeholders on everything from KYC requests to online banking structure, and will manage bank guarantees to ensure business continuity.
Beyond day‑to‑day execution, this role has a clear process‑improvement mandate. You'll audit existing workflows, lead automation initiatives, and deliver a monthly treasury dashboard that brings together the most relevant data across cash, FX exposure, forecasting, and KPIs. This is a role for someone who combines financial rigour with a tech‑forward, entrepreneurial mindset – someone who sees manual processes as problems to solve, and who wants to help redefine how Treasury operates in an AI‑native environment.
What You’ll Do
- Control the group liquidity and monitor the cash balances, making sure that the right amount of money is placed at the right accounts and in the right currencies.
- Execute short‑term borrowing/investments.
- Process the operating FX hedging activity to keep FX exposure under control, monitoring the rates charged and ensuring they are aligned with the agreed terms.
- Execute the long‑term FX hedging strategy according to the guidelines established in the group’s FX risk management policy.
- Manage and control the bank guarantees issued to keep operations working business as usual; liaise with banks to process new requests.
- Act as the main point of contact with banks and other key stakeholders regarding cash‑management activities (e.g., KYC requests, new bank accounts, online‑banking structure).
- Audit the current processes and lead the automation/improvement of the current manual tasks.
- Provide a monthly treasury dashboard containing the most relevant treasury data (e.g., cash available, KPIs, treasury forecast deviations, FX exposures).
- Other ad‑hoc projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- 2+ years of treasury‑analysis experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven work environment and to apply advanced analytical skills and provide alternative solutions.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.
- Excellent communication skills with strong proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Advanced MS Excel user.
- Experience working with or implementing treasury‑management solutions (e.g., ION Reval).
- Experience supporting multi‑entity, multi‑currency cash management across multiple jurisdictions.
Additional Attributes of a Treasury Analyst at Perk
- A collaborative team player with a commercial mindset and a genuine drive to win; someone who brings energy and ambition to everything they do.
- A global thinker who understands the scale of what Perk is building and wants to be part of making it happen across borders and markets.
- An entrepreneurial self‑starter who takes ownership, moves fast, and treats setbacks as learning opportunities rather than blockers.
- Comfortable with technology and curious about what’s emerging in the market – you don’t just use tools, you seek out better ones.
- A continuous improver who actively looks for ways to develop personally and professionally, and who adapts quickly as business needs evolve.
What We Offer

- Generous allocation of vacation days plus public holidays.
- Choice of private healthcare or a gym allowance to support physical health.
- Life Insurance to protect you and your loved ones financially.
- Annual Perk events, including a spectacular summer party.

- Flexible compensation plan to make your money go further.
- 17 weeks’ paid parental leave during your child’s first year.
- 16 paid hours per year to volunteer for charitable causes.
- Up to 20 “Work from Anywhere” days per year.
- In‑real‑life English, Spanish, and Catalan lessons to nurture your language skills.
- Four‑week, fully paid sabbatical after 5 years of service.
- Relocation support to move to one of our hubs.
