Position Overview

Department: 02340 GCMG Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine: Kenilworth - Pulmonary Medicine

Status: Full time

Schedule: M-F 8:00 - 4:30 PM (Full time, 40 hours per week)

Location: Jan and Ed Brown Center for Pulmonary Medicine, Kenilworth, NC

Pay Range: $35.50 - $53.25 per hour

Responsibilities

This is an in‑office triage nurse position focused primarily on Cystic Fibrosis care.

• Provide triage for pulmonary services, including cystic fibrosis, COPD, asthma, ILD, lung cancer, etc.
• Conduct same‑day sick visits, chronic disease management, and other clinical assessments.
• Coordinate and provide education and maintenance within the cystic fibrosis program.
• Work with interdisciplinary team including pharmacists for patient education.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
• Previous pulmonary experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Compensation

• Base hourly pay: $35.50 – $53.25.
• Premium pay (shift, on‑call, etc.) based on job role.
