Vice President Finance

Overview

We are conducting a search for a Vice President of Finance on behalf of a mid‑market services firm scaling its finance organization to support continued growth and operational maturity. This role reports to the CFO and serves as a senior finance leader across the platform. The VP Finance will own the day‑to‑day finance function and be a critical partner to operating leadership across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the day‑to‑day finance operations including the monthly close, financial reporting, and the operating finance team
• Partner with the CFO on enterprise financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles
• Lead the financial side of operating reviews including monthly business reviews, variance analysis, and operating performance reporting
• Build and develop the operating finance team including financial managers, analysts, and business partners across functions
• Drive financial discipline across the business including budget accountability, working capital management, and ROI tracking on operational investments
• Serve as the senior finance partner to operating leadership on the financial decisions that affect business performance

What You Bring

• 12+ years in finance leadership including prior VP Finance, Director of Finance, or senior controller role
• Track record in a growth‑stage services firm or PE‑backed environment preferred
• Strong financial reporting, planning, and operating finance skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; CPA or MBA preferred
• U.S.-based with willingness to travel as needed

Compensation: $225K-$325K base + annual bonus
