Video Editor (CapCut)

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team for a 6-month remote contract.

Position Details

• Role: Video Editor
• Duration: 6 months
• Location: Remote
• Working Hours: Approximately 6 hours/day
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
• Compensation: ₹10,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
• Convert raw footage into polished, engaging videos.
• Add captions, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, and background music.
• Create visually appealing thumbnails and graphics using Canva.
• Maintain a consistent editing style aligned with the brand.
• Deliver high-quality videos within deadlines.
• Organize and manage project files efficiently.
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions quickly.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in CapCut (mandatory).
• Good working knowledge of Canva (mandatory).
• Understanding of short-form video storytelling and pacing.
• Experience with text animations, transitions, and visual effects.
• Basic knowledge of color correction and audio editing.
• Ability to create engaging videos optimized for social media.
• Good attention to detail and creativity.
• Strong time management and ability to meet daily deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience editing content for social media creators, startups, or brands.
• Understanding of current social media trends and viral editing styles.
• Basic knowledge of AI editing tools is a plus.
