Wayfair – Senior Operations Manager. This role is 8 hours per day, $20 per hour, and is an on-site position with no remote option, located in Atlanta, USA, and expanding to a new facility in Richmond, BC.

Responsibilities

• Develop solid and reliable relationships with the main interested parties and higher leadership, identifying opportunities to improve the operations of the conformity center.
• Supervise general security, employees' commitment, collaboration, quality, performance, and customer experience in the operations of the conformity center.
• Create and maintain a strong culture of security that continues to eliminate operational risks.
• Command a strong senior presence, leadership and build a team of high-performance operations.
• Promote the creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other slender initiatives to allow the functional area and the conformity center to perform and exceed company plans.
• Strictly partner with a variety of groups, including transport, S & P, data integration, employees, inventory planning, engineering and others to coordinate inter-functional projects.
• Monitor and guide key performance metrics to ensure excellent customer experience and promise fulfillment.
• Contribute to the development of new tools, processes and technology that make equipment more efficient and effective.
• Support operating strategy and innovation to promote commercial income, operating and profitability objectives.
• Administer multiple priorities in a fast rhythmic environment with effective communication and in-depth monitoring through.
• Establish initiatives to improve valid processes that generate improvements year after year, as well as rationalize and optimize daily operations.
• Regularly communicate performance trends and improvements to the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience with complex operational, process and improvement projects (highly appreciated or Six Sigma), including the mapping and redesign of processes.
• Over 5 years of e-commerce, supply chain, operations or logistics experience.
• Solid process, production or engineering background with the ability to understand workflow and performance metrics.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and synthesize multiple viewpoints into an optimized action plan.
• Passionate leader focused on people who can increase results in a rapidly growing company.
• Demonstrated passion and a continuous security approach as a value rather than just a priority.
• Self-control entrepreneur capable of managing and prioritizing projects to delegate activities.
• Demonstrated leadership in building a culture of continuous improvement for processes and operations.
• Analytical ability to collect and interpret data to develop, recommend and implement solutions.
• Technologically intelligent leader, confident and collaborative, familiarity with Google Suite products an advantage.
• Extremely organized, meticulous and oriented in detail.
