Web Developer

General Description

Designs and develops websites, web applications, and components. Supports implementation and maintenance of web solutions, ensuring functionality, performance, and alignment with business requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications, user interfaces, and backend integrations
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and technical teams to implement website features
• Participate in requirements gathering and translate functional needs into technical solutions
• Assist in building prototypes for web-based projects
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
• Support testing, debugging, and optimization of web applications
• Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services
• Contribute to documentation and technical specifications
• Stay current with relevant web technologies, frameworks, and tools
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing web applications

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in web development or related field
• Experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Basic experience with frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, jQuery)
• Familiarity with backend integration and APIs (REST/SOAP)
• Understanding of databases and SQL
• Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Basic understanding of web performance, security, and accessibility principles
• Ability to fluently speak, read and write English and Spanish
