Responsibilities

• Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
• Full‑time (40 hours) position available, Monday through Friday (five days a week) daytime hours.
• Work at the Infusion Center at Highland Hospital for the Wilmot Cancer Institute. This infusion center specializes in chemotherapy infusions in addition to non‑oncology infusions referred by community providers. Opportunity to grow and gain experience in medical oncology with an established infusion team.
• Must demonstrate the ability to function in a fast‑paced environment with attention to detail, excellent follow‑through skills, and the ability to prioritize. Must work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team, be flexible, and adapt readily to changing responsibilities.
