Yoga Specialist

Role OverviewWe are looking for a Yoga Specialist to serve as the subject matter authority and quality custodian for Yoga Circle's learner experience, engagement content, and yoga communication. This role will ensure that all yoga-related interactions, programs, and content are authentic, safe, trustworthy, and aligned with Yoga Circle's teaching philosophy.The Yoga Specialist will work closely with communication, product, and community teams to improve learner engagement, support habit formation, and deliver expert guidance across classes, educational content, and learner interactions.This is a high-impact role focused on maintaining credibility, creating high-quality content, and being the custodian of member trust while helping shape meaningful and engaging yoga experiences for users. This will require bilingual communication and comfort in Hindi and English.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Improve User Engagement & Class Experience Develop structured content playbooks for beginner, intermediate, and thematic yoga journeysCreate engaging intermediate-level yoga content to support learner progression and retention - including teaching, content creation in front of cameraDesign yoga challenges, guided routines, and habit-building programs to improve consistency of practiceCreate content for themed wellness series, workshops, for social media and community engagement initiativesContinuously refine session formats and engagement approaches based on learner feedback and participation trends.
• Quality Custodian for Engagement ContentAct as the subject matter expert for all yoga-related content, communication, and learner experiencesReview and approve engagement-led content including reminders, challenges, educational content, and social communicationPartner with communication and growth teams to ensure yoga messaging is meaningful, responsible, and learner-friendlyContribute to creation of yoga challenges, habit-building journeys, and engagement initiatives.Build and maintain expert-approved yoga knowledge resources and guidance frameworks.
• Deliver Expert Guidance & Resolve Yoga-Related Learner QueriesSolve learner queries related to yoga practices, posture alignment, breathing techniques, modifications, routines, and wellness concerns.Provide empathetic, accurate, and safe guidance to learners across digital touchpoints.Support escalations related to practice suitability, beginner concerns, injuries, or session-related confusion.Build FAQs and standardized expert responses for recurring learner questions.Work closely with support and communication teams to improve clarity and effectiveness of learner guidance.

Minimum QualificationsCertified Yoga Instructor with strong understanding of yoga philosophy, anatomy, breathwork, and movement practices.4-8 years of experience teaching yoga across online and/or offline formatsExperience working with diverse learner groups including beginners and intermediate practitioners.Strong communication and learner engagement skills - in both English and HindiAbility to simplify and communicate wellness concepts clearly and empatheticallyExperience creating educational or engagement-focused yoga content is preferredStrong sense of responsibility toward learner safety and teaching quality.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, digital-first wellness environ
