Role Summary
An Accounts executive is responsible for maintenance/closure of books of accounts. He/She will be involved in the processing and documenting of financial information about the business. You will also be providing financial and administrative support to colleagues, clients and stakeholders of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Book keeping, Record Maintenance,vendor payments, preparation of reconciliation statements and MIS, finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
- Collating necessary supporting documents from various support and business teams.
- Formulate and ensure Smooth and Efficient working of Internal controls.
- Preparing and Ensuring timely payment of statutory dues and filing of e-returns.
- Facilitating Audits and Due Diligence, liaising with tax and other regulatory authorities.
- Facilitate Vendor Management and Vendor Payments.
- Should be well versed with Accounting Standards, Sch III financials, Consolidation and other reporting requirements.
- In depth knowledge and Working experience in GST, Income Tax, TDS and PT.
- Basic knowledge of Corporate and Other business laws is required.
- Will be required to track, monitor and follow-up with various internal teams and external consultants to ensure timely compliance
Key Requirements
- Min 2 years of experience
- Commerce graduate or Post Graduation mandatory.
- Preferable: Pursuing CA/CWA (any level) or any other professional degree, CA dropouts.
- Optional: Certificate courses on IFRS, Ind AS, GST etc
- Basic knowledge of tax provisions – GST and TDS – From accounting as well as compliance perspective.
- Working knowledge and experience in MS office
- Good communication skills.
- Analytical and Problem Solving Skills.
- In depth accounting knowledge, Preferable knowledge of accounting tools – Tally and Zoho Books.
- Work Experience on Transfer Pricing Provisions is an added advantage.
