About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a strong background in TDS, statutory compliance, GST, and e-commerce accounting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing financial operations in a D2C or e-commerce company and be well-versed in marketplace reconciliations and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and quarterly return filing.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations.
• Prepare and reconcile GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other statutory reports.
• Process vendor invoices, payments, and ledger reconciliations.
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Reconcile marketplace settlements from Amazon, Flipkart, FirstCry, Shopify, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, Myntra, and Nykaa.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders during audits.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and MIS reports.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Ensure timely compliance with all direct and indirect tax requirements.
• Support payroll-related accounting entries and statutory deductions.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of TDS provisions, GST, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in TDS return filing, Form 26Q, Form 24Q, TRACES, Form 16 & 16A.
• Hands-on experience in e-commerce accounting and marketplace reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy, Zoho Books, or other ERP/accounting software.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, IF functions).
• Good understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a D2C or E-commerce company is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, FirstCry, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, Myntra, and Nykaa accounting processes.
• Experience handling statutory audits and tax assessments is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
• CA Inter / CMA Inter / M.Com is preferred.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in accounting, TDS, and compliance.
