Role Description This is an on-site role for a Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant, based in Mumbai. The Semi-qualified CA will assist in statutory audit, risk advisory, process optimisation, due diligence, IPO advisory, CFO advisory and tax audits, including planning, fieldwork, and documentation of working papers. The role also involves coordinating with senior team members on client deliverables, performing analytical reviews, advising the clients for cost optimisation and process improvements.
Semi-qualified CAs are expected to stay updated on applicable standards and regulations and contribute to process improvements within the engagement teams.
Qualifications
- Candidates should have completed their CA articleship.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing procedures.
- Strong knowledge of Ind-AS, SAs, Company law and Securities laws.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point and other standard office tools; exposure to accounting or audit software is an advantage.
- Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact with clients professionally.
- Ability to manage time, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a structured manner.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new processes, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
