Falsa is a contemporary Indian occasion wear label that celebrates Indian craftsmanship through handcrafted textiles, embroidery, and artistic storytelling. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Assistant Fashion Designer who is passionate about design and understands the importance of building a brand through engaging visual content.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Product Development

* Assist in designing seasonal collections and new product developments.

* Create design sketches, mood boards, colour palettes, and concept presentations.

* Research fashion trends, textiles, silhouettes, and trims.

* Coordinate with embroidery artisans, printers, and sampling units during product development.

* Prepare technical sheets and maintain design documentation.

* Source fabrics, trims, and accessories from local markets and vendors.

* Assist during photoshoots, exhibitions, and collection launches.

Content Creation & Brand Building

* Capture behind-the-scenes content of the design and production process.

* Create engaging content for Instagram and other social media platforms, including reels, stories, and posts.

* Assist in planning the brand’s social media content calendar.

* Help maintain the visual identity and aesthetic of the brand across digital platforms.

* Coordinate with photographers, models, and content creators when required.

* Stay updated with fashion and social media trends to contribute fresh content ideas.

Requirements

* Degree or diploma in Fashion Design.

* 1–3 years of experience in a fashion brand or design studio (fresh graduates with a strong portfolio may also apply).

* Good understanding of garment construction, fabrics, embroidery, and Indian textiles.

* Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, or similar design tools.

* Comfortable using a smartphone or camera for content creation and basic video editing apps.

* Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail.
