Assistant Manager – Creative Production (Graphic and Video)

Role Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Creative Operations to drive the development and production of ISB’s learning content. This role combines creative ideation, content production, vendor management, quality assurance, and AI-enabled workflows to deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences aligned with ISB’s brand standards.
You will manage creative projects end to end — from ideation through production and final review — while partnering with Instructional Designers, studio teams, and external production partners. The role is hands-on, blending creative direction and in-house production with disciplined project, vendor, and quality management. The position is based in Hyderabad, India.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Production
• Create, source, and manage visual assets for learning and marketing initiatives.
• Produce and edit videos, graphics, and multimedia assets in-house when required.
• Provide creative direction to editors, designers, animators, and production partners.
• Partner with Instructional Designers to translate learning objectives into engaging visual, video, and multimedia experiences.
• Review and provide creative direction on instructional storyboards, visual treatments, learning
interactions, video scripts, and multimedia learning experiences.
Project and Production Management
• Manage creative projects from ideation to execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and stakeholder alignment.
• Oversee video production and post-production workflows, including editing, graphics, animation, audio, and final reviews.
• Coordinate with studio teams to ensure smooth shoot execution, production tracking, and
content repository management.
Brand, Quality and Process Excellence
• Ensure all content adheres to ISB brand guidelines and quality benchmarks.
• Ensure all creative assets comply with LMS/platform technical specifications, accessibility
requirements, metadata standards, and publishing guidelines.
• Enforce production workflows, SOPs, and review processes.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management
• Manage relationships with production houses, creative agencies, freelancers, and external partners.
• Brief, guide, and evaluate vendors to ensure adherence to ISB’s quality, brand, and timeline expectations.
AI and Innovation
• Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance content production, efficiency, and learner engagement.
• Continuously evaluate and introduce innovative learning experience approaches, visual frameworks, interaction models, AI-enabled content formats, and storytelling techniques.
Asset and Knowledge Management
• Maintain organised repositories of creative assets, templates, production files, and brand resources.
• Develop reusable frameworks and asset libraries to improve scalability and consistency.
Required Experience
• 4+ years of experience in video production, post-production, creative services, or content production, preferably in education, media, or e-learning.
• Experience managing creative projects and coordinating vendors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of content production workflows across video, graphics, animation, and multimedia.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation tools, cloud-based collaboration platforms, and remote production workflows.
• Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in educational technology and online learning.
Required Skills and Competencies
• Creative Production Craft: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator), with a strong eye for visual quality and storytelling.
• Project & Vendor Management: Proven ability to manage creative projects end to end and
coordinate vendors, studios, and cross-functional teams to deliver on time and on brief.
• Quality & Brand Discipline: Strong attention to brand consistency, technical specifications, and accessibility and publishing standards.
• AI Fluency: Practical orientation to AI-assisted content creation tools and emerging technologies, with the ability to embed them in production workflows.
• Communication & Problem-Solving: Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Animation, Visual Communication, Design, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• A portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant creative and production work is required as part of the application.
