About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Associate to manage and ensure adherence to statutory and labor law compliances for our clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in handling payroll compliances, statutory filings, audits, and regulatory requirements while ensuring timely and accurate compliance execution. Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end statutory compliance activities including PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Gratuity, Bonus, and other applicable labor law compliances.Ensure timely remittance of statutory contributions and filing of returns as per regulatory requirements.Handle registrations, amendments, renewals, licenses, and closures under various labor laws and statutory authorities.Maintain and monitor compliance calendars to ensure adherence to all statutory deadlines.Coordinate with government departments, labor authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies for compliance-related matters.Prepare, maintain, and update compliance records, registers, documentation, and statutory reports.Support internal, external, and statutory audits by providing necessary documentation and compliance evidence.Respond to client queries and provide guidance on labor law and statutory compliance matters.Generate MIS reports, compliance dashboards, and management reports for tracking compliance status.Collaborate closely with payroll, HR, and operations teams to ensure accurate compliance processing and statutory reporting.Manage compliance requirements across multiple states and locations, ensuring adherence to both Central and State-specific labor legislations.Stay updated on changes in labor laws, wage regulations, and statutory provisions, and implement necessary changes within defined timelines.Conduct periodic compliance reviews and risk assessments to identify gaps and ensure corrective actions are implemented proactively. Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Commerce, Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.3-6 years of experience in labor law and statutory compliance.Strong knowledge of PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Shops & Establishment Act, CLRA, Factory Act, Minimum Wages Act, Bonus Act, and other applicable labor laws.Experience handling payroll compliance processes.Good understanding of statutory portals and filing procedures.Proficiency in MS Excel and compliance reporting.Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple clients and compliance deadlines effectively.Experience in a Payroll, Staffing, HR Outsourcing, or Compliance Consulting organization.Exposure to all state compliance management.
Pay: 35,000 - 50,000 per month
