Job Description
Key Responsibilities by Specialization
A. For Finance Candidates:
- Teach core and elective courses such as Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting, Investment Banking, Wealth Management, and Taxation.
- Integrate modern financial concepts like FinTech, digital banking, and financial modeling into the curriculum.
- Guide students through financial case analyses, portfolio simulations, and preparation for professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, ACCA).
B. For Marketing Candidates:
- Teach courses such as Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Retail Marketing, and Sales Management.
- Design practical curriculum focusing on modern marketing trends, search engine optimization (SEO), social media strategy, and e-commerce.
- Guide students through experiential marketing campaigns, real-world case studies, and brand-building projects.
C. For Business Analytics Candidates:
- Teach courses such as Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics, Data Visualization, Big Data, and AI applications in business.
- Train students in essential analytical tools and languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, SPSS).
- Facilitate hands-on, data-driven projects where students translate complex datasets into actionable business strategies.
General Academic & Administrative Duties
- Instruction & Pedagogy: Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures using innovative pedagogical methods (case-based learning, simulations, and hybrid classroom tools).
- Curriculum Development: Update and revise syllabi to keep pace with industry trends and accreditation standards (e.g., AACSB, NBA, NAAC, or local education frameworks).
- Research & Publication: Maintain an active research agenda. Publish in peer-reviewed, high-impact journals (e.g., Scopus, ABDC, or UGC-CARE listed).
- Student Mentorship: Guide student internships, capstone research projects, and career planning.
- Institutional Service: Participate in departmental meetings, admissions outreach, exam administration, and campus committee roles.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Required: Master’s degree (M.Com, MBA, or MS in a relevant field) with a minimum of 55% marks, and a cleared National Eligibility Test (NET/SET/SLET) or equivalent regional teaching license.
- Highly Preferred: Ph.D. in Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university
