About the Role
As a member of the Compliance Monitoring team at Navi, you will be the primary safeguard ensuring our products and core processes align with regulatory and internal standards. Your goal is to simplify complex regulations into clear, actionable monitoring plans and proactively identify gaps/streamline key processes. You will deep-dive into our systems to identify risks, track necessary improvements and ensure identified gaps are fully remediated.
Risk & Tech-Driven Compliance
- Map the Risk Landscape: Conduct compliance risk assessments across the business to understand our regulatory exposure. This gives us a clear picture of where the risks lie, helping us prioritize exactly where to focus our testing and attention.
- Build Automated Alerts: Leverage data analytics to build automated, near real-time alerts that track our compliance health and catch breaches instantly.
Deep-Dive Testing & Problem Solving
- Test and Strengthen Controls: Dive deep into our processes to test how well our controls work against internal policies and regulations.
- Find the Root Cause: Don't just treat the symptoms. Run deep root cause analysis (RCA) to find out exactly why gaps happen so we can stop them from repeating.
- Drive Permanent Fixes: Take charge of closing the gaps. Work directly with teams to gather proof and ensure every issue is fully and permanently resolved.
Teamwork, Delivery & Leadership
- Create High-Quality Documentation: Draft clear scoping memos, detailed testing workpapers, and insightful review reports that tell the true story of our risk posture.
- Partner with the Business: Work aggressively alongside business leaders to align goals, clear roadblocks, and get compliance tasks done right and on time.
- Manage Key Projects: Keep multiple important tasks moving forward with sharp attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Requirements
- Background in testing, internal audit, finance, compliance or risk management function
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to perform under pressure
- Effective people management and communication skills to collaborate across teams
- Familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI) for automated monitoring is a plus
