Role Overview
Position: Azure Pre-Sales
Location: Hyderabad (On-site/Hybrid)
Experience: Minimum 4+ years in Cloud Solution Architecting
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales: Collaborate to understand client needs and map them to technical solutions.
- Architect Solutions: Design end-to-end Azure and M365 architectures tailored to business goals.
- Lead Technical Discussions: Run discovery sessions, workshops, and solution walkthroughs.
- Build Proposals: Create Bills of Materials (BoQs), effort estimates, SOWs, and proposal inputs.
- Win RFPs: Provide detailed technical inputs for complex RFP and RFI responses.
- Seamless Handovers: Collaborate with delivery teams for smooth implementation transitions.
- Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with Microsoft and OEMs for solution alignment and pricing.
Core Technical Skills
Microsoft Azure
- Core services: VMs, Storage, and Networking.
- Architecture design: Landing Zones and Hub-Spoke models.
- Security & Identity: Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, Defender for Cloud, NSGs, and Firewalls.
- Business Continuity: Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery (ASR).
- Monitoring: Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
Microsoft 365
- Core productivity: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Security & Compliance: MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, and basic Defender.
- Device Management: Endpoint management using Microsoft Intune.
- Migrations: Mailbox, OneDrive, and SharePoint migrations.
Cloud & Tenant Migration
- Frameworks: Rehost, Replatform, and basic Refactor approaches.
- Planning: On-premise to Azure migration planning using Azure Migrate and ASR.
- Estimation: Scoping migration efforts, timelines, and technical dependencies.
- Tenant Management: M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations and hybrid setups.
General Requirements & Domain Knowledge
- Strong client-facing skills and formal pre-sales experience.
- Solid understanding of Azure & M365 licensing models.
- Experience working within an MSP or Managed Services environment.
