TYPE OF ROLE: Individual Contributor RoleBU/ DIVISION: Professional LightingJOB PURPOSE:To lead and manage business development initiatives in the solar energy sector for West India KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead technical sales activities for solar EPC projects (Rooftop, Ground Mount, OA & Utility)Understand client requirements and prepare technical & techno-commercial proposalsCoordinate with Design, SCM, Finance, Legal & Projects teams for bid preparationPreparation of BOQ, cost estimates, pricing strategy, and margin analysisPreparation & submission of tenders, RFPs, EOIs, and RFQsConduct technical presentations and discussions with clients, consultants & developersParticipate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client negotiationsSupport contract finalization, scope freeze, and handover to execution teamMaintain sales pipeline, MIS reports, and forecastingTrack market trends, policy changes, and competitor movements in the solar sectorBuild and maintain long-term relationships with developers, corporates, consultants, and government bodies EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: B.E/ B.Tech (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Energy/ Instrumentation) orMBA/ PGDM (Marketing)
WORK EXPERIENCE: 5 to 10 years of experience in Technical Sales / Pre-Sales / Business Development in the Solar EPC / Renewable Energy sector
