Role Description The Business Development Executive (FRP & Industrial Products) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, and expanding the customer base across target industrial sectors. The executive will conduct market research, build and maintain strong client relationships, manage key accounts, and coordinate closely with internal teams to develop proposals and negotiate contracts.
Daily activities include visiting prospects, presenting technical and commercial offerings, tracking sales pipelines, and preparing regular business development reports. The role also requires collaboration with marketing and operations to ensure timely delivery, customer satisfaction, and achievement of sales targets.
Qualifications
- Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with a focus on industrial products and solutions.
- Business acumen and understanding of sales processes, pricing, and negotiation in B2B environments.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to present technical products clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Account management skills to maintain existing client relationships and drive repeat and upsell business.
- Experience in FRP, composites, or industrial products sectors is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools, with strong organizational and reporting abilities.
- Willingness to travel within the Pune Division and nearby regions for client meetings and site visits.
