Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive based in Chennai. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, acquiring new clients, and supporting the company’s growth initiatives within the facility management industry.
The role involves developing and maintaining strong client relationships, conducting corporate meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth service onboarding and customer satisfaction.
The candidate will play a key role in expanding the company’s market presence by building long-term business relationships and contributing to revenue growth.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, or Client Acquisition, preferably within the Facility Management, IFM, Security Services, Housekeeping, or related service industries.
• Strong lead generation and new business acquisition skills with the ability to independently identify and develop growth opportunities.
• Experience in account management and maintaining long-term client relationships with corporate customers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of business development strategies, sales processes, and client relationship management.
• Ability to prepare proposals, quotations, and business presentations professionally.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced business environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with operations and management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in the Facility Management industry or related service sectors will be considered a strong advantage.
Compensation / Salary
• Salary up to ₹60,000 per month based on experience, industry exposure, and performance capability.
