Job Title: Professor / Associate Professor – Finance (CA Qualified) Location: Pune / Chandigarh / Guwahati Institution: Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role PIBM is seeking a highly accomplished and student-centric Professor / Associate Professor in Finance who is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a passion for teaching, mentoring, and shaping future business leaders. The ideal candidate should possess strong academic credentials, industry exposure, and expertise in delivering contemporary finance and management subjects to MBA/PGDM students. Beyond classroom teaching, the candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding students for placements, internships, industry projects, certifications, and career development initiatives .

Key Responsibilities Academic Delivery Teach core and advanced Finance subjects for MBA/PGDM programs. Deliver contemporary management and industry-relevant courses using case studies, simulations, and experiential learning methodologies. Design lesson plans, assessments, assignments, and learning activities aligned with industry expectations.

Continuously update course content based on emerging business and financial trends. Subjects to be Taught The candidate should be capable of teaching a combination of the following subjects: Finance Domain Corporate Finance Financial Management Financial Statement Analysis Financial Modeling Equity Research & Valuation Investment Banking Security Analysis & Portfolio Management Risk Management Treasury Management Commercial Credit Analysis Financial Markets & Institutions Fixed Income Securities Derivatives & Alternative Investments Wealth Management International Finance FinTech & Digital Finance Modern MBA/PGDM Subjects Business Analytics for Managers Data-Driven Decision Making AI Applications in Finance Financial Technology (FinTech) ESG & Sustainable Finance Business Strategy Managerial Economics Corporate Governance & Ethics Design Thinking for Business Digital Transformation in Financial Services Student Mentoring & Career Development Mentor students for placements, internships, live projects, and career readiness. Conduct training sessions on resume building, interview preparation, aptitude, group discussions, and corporate etiquette.

Guide students in industry certifications such as CA, CFA, FRM, NISM, Bloomberg, and other finance-related credentials. Facilitate industry projects, consulting assignments, and corporate interactions. Track student performance and provide individualized academic and career guidance.

Industry & Research Contributions Build and maintain strong industry relationships for internships, live projects, guest lectures, and placements. Undertake research, publish papers, and contribute to institutional thought leadership. Participate in curriculum development, accreditation processes, and academic administration.

Organize workshops, conclaves, seminars, and corporate engagement activities. Eligibility Criteria Mandatory Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) . Master's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Management, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in MBA/PGDM institutions. Strong command over finance concepts and modern business applications. Excellent presentation, communication, and mentoring skills.

Preferred Ph.D. in Finance, Management, Commerce, or a related field. Prior industry experience in Banking, Consulting, Corporate Finance, Investment Management, Financial Services, or related domains. Experience in Business Analytics, Financial Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, or AI applications in finance.

Publications in reputed journals and conference proceedings. Desired Competencies Exceptional classroom engagement and facilitation skills. Strong student mentoring and coaching capabilities.
