Commercial Real Estate Counsel

• Manage the legal closing process for commercial real estate financing transactions.
• Coordinate with lenders, outside counsel, title companies, custodians, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate loan assignments, transfer documentation, and other transaction documents.
• Support structured finance transactions, including repurchase facilities, subscription facilities, warehouse financings, and other commercial real estate debt structures.
• Coordinate due diligence, closing deliverables, documentation, and transaction timelines.
• Review title, survey, organizational, and loan documentation.
• Help improve transaction processes, documentation standards, and closing workflows.

Qualifications

• J.D. with approximately 2-6 years of relevant transactional experience.
• Experience in commercial real estate finance, commercial lending, structured finance, capital markets, or related transactional practice.
• Background at a law firm, commercial lender, financial institution, or real estate investment platform.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
