Job Description
Responsible for leading and managing end-to-end distribution center operations across multiple hubs for retail furniture products.This role ensures efficient warehouse management, accurate inventory control, optimal logistics execution, and timely distribution to retail stores and customers, while maintaining high standards in handling bulky items and minimizing damage. Job Responsibilities :Oversee and manage daily operations across multiple distribution hubs, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch for furniture productsDevelop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse and logistics operations across all hubs to improve efficiency, cost, and service levelEnsure accurate inventory management and stock visibility across all locations, maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing discrepanciesLead warehouse layout planning and space utilization initiatives, especially for bulky and high-volume furniture itemsEstablish and enforce proper handling, storage, and movement procedures to reduce damage and maintain product qualityManage end-to-end order fulfillment for retail stores and direct-to-customer deliveries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on-time performanceOversee transportation and distribution planning, including route optimization, fleet utilization, and third-party logistics coordinationMonitor KPIs such as delivery lead time, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, damage rate, and logistics cost efficiencyLead, develop, and manage warehouse and logistics teams across multiple hubs, including manpower planning, performance management, and capability developmentEnsure compliance with safety, health, and operational standards across all distribution centersCollaborate cross-functionally with Retail Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless operationsDrive continuous improvement initiatives, including process standardization, system enhancement (WMS/TMS), and operational excellence programsPrepare and present operational reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management Job Requirements :Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fieldMinimum 6–8 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role, preferably in retail furniture, home furnishing, or bulky goods industryStrong experience in managing multi-site distribution operationsDeep understanding of inventory control, warehouse layout optimization, and handling of large/bulky itemsProven leadership in managing large teams across multiple locationsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesExperience with WMS/TMS systems and logistics performance trackingAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environmentOpen to placement in Cikarang and business travel when required
