The Document Specialist reviews, prepares, and organizes documents such as leases, contracts, and related legal and financial records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client requirements.
Daily tasks include verifying data, formatting and standardizing documents, tracking document status, and maintaining organized digital files within established document management systems. The role involves coordinating with internal team members and client contacts to clarify requirements, resolve discrepancies, and meet deadlines. The Document Specialist contributes to process improvements by identifying recurring issues, suggesting better workflows, and supporting quality control standards across all assigned projects.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in document preparation, including organizing, formatting, and creating real estate-related documentation.Candidates should possess skills in document management, such as maintaining digital records, tracking versions, and following standardized filing protocols.Candidates should possess skills in document review, including checking for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with client and regulatory requirements.Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with legal document preparation, particularly in the context of U.S. commercial real estate leases, contracts, and related agreements.Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and client representatives.Additional beneficial qualifications include attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, proficiency with office and document management software, and experience in commercial real estate or related fields.Post-secondary education in business, real estate, law, or a related discipline is preferred, as well as prior experience in a document-intensive or BPO environment.
