Engineering Manager

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Electrical Engineering.
• GCC (Factories) is a mandatory requirement.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Maintenance Management within a heavy industrial environment.
• Cement manufacturing experience and knowledge of cement plant equipment will be advantageous.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance teams.
• Experience in maintenance planning, shutdown management, reliability improvement, and asset management.
• Strong knowledge of safety, statutory, and engineering compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be dedicated, ethical, professional, and results‑driven.

Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)

• Lead all engineering and maintenance activities at the Lichtenburg Cement Factory.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximise plant reliability and availability.
• Manage preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programmes.
• Lead shutdowns, major repairs, and capital projects.
• Manage maintenance budgets, resources, contractors, and engineering personnel.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, efficiency, and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, and company requirements.
• Work closely with production teams to achieve operational targets.
• Develop and mentor maintenance and engineering teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

The candidates must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness.
