Role Overview
As Events Manager, you will lead the management and execution of Super’s entertainment and sports sponsorship portfolio in Brazil, ensuring operational excellence, strong relationships with strategic partners, and the maximisation of contracted assets. Reporting to the Head of Sponsorships, you will be responsible for implementing sponsorship strategies, managing day‑to‑day relationships with sponsored properties, and delivering initiatives outlined in sponsorship agreements and activation plans. The role carries direct responsibility for managing the Events team, supporting employee development, and driving excellence in the execution of brand experiences and activations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day operational relationships with festival promoters, event organisers, cultural and sports properties, agencies, talent, influencers, and other strategic partners.
- Lead the execution of sponsorship and partnership agreements, ensuring all contractual commitments are delivered by all parties involved.
- Coordinate brand activations across festivals, concerts, carnival events, cultural initiatives, owned experiences, hospitality programmes, and sponsored sports properties; coordinate agencies, vendors, and partners.
- Collaborate closely with Branding, Content, Social Media, CRM, PR, Operations, and Commercial teams to maximise the value of contracted assets and the impact of brand initiatives.
- Manage relationships with artists, influencers, ambassadors, and talent, ensuring all contracted deliverables, appearances, and content commitments are fulfilled.
- Develop and consolidate performance reports, tracking key metrics related to asset delivery, brand exposure, and return on investment.
- Identify tactical opportunities to amplify and activate sponsored properties, maximising the value generated through partnerships.
- Lead and develop the Events team, managing performance, setting priorities, overseeing deliverables, and supporting professional growth.
- Act as the primary owner of operational governance for sponsorship and event‑related projects, ensuring organisation, visibility, and effective tracking across the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sponsorships, partnerships, entertainment marketing, experiential marketing, events, or related fields.
- Strong experience managing relationships with festival organisers, cultural events, carnival organisations, major entertainment properties, agencies, influencers, artists, and commercial partners.
- Proven track record delivering brand activations, events, experiences, and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing teams and developing talent.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, vendors, and timelines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Analytical and results‑oriented mindset, with the ability to monitor performance metrics and evaluate initiative effectiveness.
- Passion for entertainment, music, culture, live experiences, and major events.
