What You Will Experience:Develop and implement fleet transport procurement strategies that align with business objectives. Optimize logistics costs while ensuring on-time delivery and safety standards. Manage relationships with logistics service providers, including contract negotiations and performance reviews.
Collaborate with manufacturing site managers to address logistical challenges. Provide insights and reports to senior management on fleet performance, cost savings, and risk mitigation strategies.
What is Required:Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications such as CIPS, CSCP, or CPSM would be advantageous. 8-12 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on fleet and transport management in the manufacturing sector, preferably pulp, paper, or tissue industries. Proven experience managing transportation services procurement, including trucking, logistics service providers (LSPs), and 3PL/4PL management.
Experience negotiating with transportation vendors, managing service level agreements (SLAs), and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Demonstrated ability to work closely with supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and site operations teams.Expertise in tendering, negotiating contracts, and driving cost efficiencies while maintaining service quality. Ability to analyze market trends, benchmark costs, and implement procurement strategies for fleet and logistics.Understanding of transportation cost structures, including fuel pricing, maintenance costs, and logistics tariffs.
Familiarity with Indonesian transportation laws, compliance requirements, and environmental regulations affecting logistics and fleet operations. Knowledge of transport management systems (TMS), ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle), and e-sourcing tools. Strong negotiation and influencing abilities with domestic and international logistics providers.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English; knowledge of Chinese could be a plus.Proactive in addressing supply chain disruptions and logistics challenges. Experience leading small teams or project-based teams in a procurement/logistics environment. Willing to travel for business purposes.Willing to be based in Alam Sutera, SerpongLanguage: English
