Finance Officer (SaaS)

The software is a world‑class GPS Fleet Management & team productivity software that helps businesses improve customer service, increase productivity, reduce costs and get maximum performance from their fleet, assets and team.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Officer to join our team. This role will primarily involve bookkeeping responsibilities such as managing accounts receivable and payable, handling debt collection, and making inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with finance-related inquiries. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of financial management principles and a strong aptitude for numbers.

Tasks

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage and oversee all facets of our Accounts Payable/Receivable functions. This includes timely and accurate invoice processing, ensuring correct payments, and reconciliation of financial discrepancies by applying appropriate audit procedures.

Debt Collection: Efficiently manage and track outstanding debts. Communicate effectively with customers to ensure prompt payment, negotiate repayment plans if necessary, and handle any inquiries or disputes.

Customer Service: Manage inbound and outbound calls relating to finance-related inquiries. Ensure that all customer queries are addressed in an accurate and timely manner, while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Financial Reporting: Regularly prepare and present clear, concise, and comprehensive financial reports. Analyse financial data and provide insights to management to aid in financial decision-making.

Budget Management: Assist in the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts, tracking variances and reporting significant issues to management.

Audit and Compliance: Ensure financial operations comply with state and federal laws and regulations. Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
