GA QC Team Leader

About the RoleAs the QC Team Leader (General Assembly), you will be responsible for leading and controlling all quality inspection activities for our Electric Vehicle (EV) assembly lines.

Your primary mission is to ensure every unit meets our rigorous world-class quality standards, managing the inspection process from in-process assembly to final vehicle release.? Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise the QC team in the General Assembly area, ensuring all inspections follow SOPs and work instructions.Monitor in-process and final inspections for EV assembly, ensuring vehicles meet all quality requirements before delivery.Identify, analyze, and report defects, leading root cause analysis and implementing effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).Oversee specialized EV quality checks, including battery system installation, high-voltage components, and wiring harness integrity.Verify critical torque standards, gap & flush fitment, and cosmetic quality to maintain premium vehicle standards.Coordinate with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues and ensure proper containment actions.Manage QC reports, documentation, and the calibration of measuring tools and equipment.Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen, QCC, Lean) and develop team capability through coaching and daily briefings. ? RequirementsMinimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1), preferably in Engineering.Minimum 5+ years of experience in QC/Quality Inspection within a manufacturing environment (Automotive/EV preferred).Strong knowledge of quality control tools (7 QC Tools, Problem Solving, CAPA).Proven experience in the General Assembly process and understanding of EV systems (Battery/HV components).Strong leadership, analytical, and team management skills.Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and HSE standards.Willing to work in shifts.Willing to work onsite at VinFast Factory – Subang.
