General Assembly Production Team Leader Job PurposeTo lead and supervise the General Assembly production team leader to ensure production targets are achieved in terms of quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale (QCDSM) in accordance with company standards.2. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily General Assembly production activities to ensure smooth operationsEnsure production output meets quality, quantity, and delivery targetsMonitor and control manpower allocation based on production planningEnsure all processes comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work InstructionsCoordinate with QC, Engineering, and other departments to resolve production and quality issuesLead problem-solving activities (root cause analysis, corrective & preventive actions)Monitor and improve line efficiency and productivityEnsure proper implementation of safety standards (HSE) in the working areaConduct daily briefing / toolbox meetings with team membersControl and minimize defects, rework, and waste in the production processEnsure proper use of tools, equipment, and production materialsSupport internal and external audits3. Additional DutiesDrive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S)Develop team capability through training and coachingMonitor employee discipline and attendancePrepare and submit production reports4.

QualificationsMinimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1), preferably in EngineeringMinimum 5+ years experience in manufacturing / assembly line (automotive preferred)Strong understanding of production processes and quality controlLeadership and team management skillsGood problem-solving and analytical skillsGood communication skillsWilling to work in shiftsFamiliar with Lean Manufacturing / 5S / KaizenAutomotive background
