Head of Sales

Purpose of Job
Lead the team’s sales and client relationship strategy across India to drive sustainable revenue growth, expand market presence, strengthen key client relationships, and build a high-performing sales team aligned with business objectives.
Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Main Duties
- Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve ACCL’s revenue and growth objectives.
- Drive business growth through new client acquisition, market expansion, and strategic account development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and decision-makers.
- Lead efforts to increase client retention, repeat business, and cross-selling / up-selling opportunities across all business practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to create a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
- Set regular cadence to monitor performance, and ensure achievement of business objectives across all business practices / cities.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, accurate forecasts, and effective CRM discipline to support business growth.
- Collaborate with business and marketing teams to develop client-centric solutions and go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to strengthen ACCL’s market position.
- Represent ACCL at client meetings, industry forums, conferences, and networking events.

- Proven ability to develop and execute large-scale sales and business growth strategies.
- Strong leadership experience in managing multi-location sales teams.
- Expertise in business development, consultative selling, and strategic account management.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and deal closure capabilities.
- Ability to build relationships with Clients, especially at MD, CHRO and other C-suite levels.
- Strong proposal development, solution selling, and presentation skills.
- Expertise in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM systems.
- Strong market intelligence, business planning, and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
