Role Description This is a full-time Junior Architect role based in Coimbatore with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Junior Architect will support senior team members in developing architectural concepts, space plans, and detailed drawings for residential and commercial projects. Daily activities include preparing CAD and 3D models, creating presentation decks, coordinating with interior designers and project managers, and assisting with material selection and documentation.
The role involves participating in client meetings, updating design iterations based on feedback, and aligning drawings with local building codes and project requirements. The Junior Architect will also collaborate with technology and construction teams to ensure design intent is maintained from concept through execution.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, spatial planning, and detailing.
- Ability to collaborate on Project Management tasks such as timelines, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Comfort working with Software Development and Integration teams to support design-tech workflows and digital project delivery.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and basic familiarity with visualization tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; eligibility or pursuit of professional licensure is an advantage.
- Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and presentations.
- Effective communication skills, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn from diverse project types.
- Interest in construction technology, sustainable design practices, and end-to-end design-build delivery is highly beneficial.
