Job Description
Overview
Role: Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting Finance teams, and LP legal and territory teams to prepare various types of participation statements for international local productions, with a focus on German, Austrian and Swiss productions. This is a hybrid role with remote and in-office work according to company policy.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements including producer participation, talent reporting (§32d UrhG), subsidy reporting, and dubbing contributor reporting for US titles.
- Coordinate posting and payment of German statements, ensuring required approvals in collaboration with the P2P team.
- Coordinate corrections of expenses incorrectly assigned to local production titles with accounting teams.
- Respond to internal and external partner queries related to statements, cost, and revenue details.
- Review participation statements from third parties and coordinate processing with accounting and P2P teams.
- Prepare intercompany reporting, document business processes, and support financial audits.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and respond to ad hoc requests from territories and Home Office.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, or other financial reporting and analytics tools is a plus.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken. German is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Hybrid Working: role advertised as hybrid, combining remote and in-office work according to policy and manager agreement; subject to applicable laws and business needs.
