Overview
Working closely with FP&A, Accounting Finance teams, and LP legal and territory teams, the main focus of this role is to prepare various types of participation statements for international local productions, with a particular focus on German, Austrian and Swiss productions. Join to contribute to key financial processes and develop expertise in a global environment.
Your Role
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements including producer participation, talent reporting (§32d UrhG), subsidy reporting, and dubbing contributor reporting for US titles. Coordinate posting and payment of German statements, ensuring required approvals in collaboration with the P2P team. Coordinate corrections of expenses incorrectly assigned to local production titles with accounting teams.
Respond to internal and external partner queries related to statements, cost, and revenue details. Review participation statements from third parties and coordinate processing with accounting and P2P teams. Prepare intercompany reporting, document business processes, and support financial audits.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and respond to ad hoc requests from territories and Home Office.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor\'s degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, or other financial reporting and analytics tools is a plus.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken. German is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Working Model
Hybrid Working – this role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
