We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Varicent (or similar Incentive Compensation Management software) and a proven ability to configure, customize, and support its production environment to meet business needs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen to ensure seamless system performance and deliver value to stakeholders.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Lead Business Analyst, your key responsibilities will be:

• Varicent Configuration
  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of solutions within Varicent to support business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Optimize Varicent workflows, rules, calculations, and reporting to ensure efficient and accurate incentive compensation processes.
• Production Support
  • Provide ongoing support for Varicent production environments, ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including data discrepancies, configuration errors, and user challenges.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analysis and Collaboration
  • Partner with business teams (e.g., Sales, Finance, HR) to understand incentive compensation goals and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct impact analysis for system changes and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Support testing efforts, including unit testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Documentation and Training
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation for system configurations, workflows, and processes.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on Varicent functionality and best practices.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Lead Business Analyst if your background includes:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Varicent or similar Incentive Compensation Management platforms.
• Proven experience in system configuration, implementation, and production support.
• Strong understanding of incentive compensation processes and related business functions (e.g., sales operations, financial reporting).
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
