Managing Director – Singapore & Regional Markets (Water Treatment)

About the OpportunityA well‑established global engineering business that has a presence in Asia is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Singapore entity and drive growth across Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The company supplies a full range of water treatment, metering, dosing, and fluid‑handling technologies to municipal, industrial, and commercial sectors.
This is a strategic leadership role overseeing sales, service, and project delivery, with full P&L accountability.
What You Will LeadFull P&L responsibility for the Singapore business and regional distributor networkLeadership of a 20‑person team in Singapore plus distributors in Indonesia and the PhilippinesCommercial growth across municipal water, industrial processing, and manufacturing marketsDevelopment and execution of sales, service, and project strategies across all product linesStrengthening market presence, customer relationships, and regional channel performanceRegular regional travel (approx. one week per month)
What You Bring15–20 years of experience in water treatment, fluid handling, industrial equipment, or related engineering marketsStrong sales leadership background with proven success driving revenue and leading teamsExperience managing and developing commercial and technical teamsTrack record of managing P&L, commercial strategy, and regional business performanceFluent in English and Singaporean Mandarin to work effectively across the regionPrior experience in multinational or distributor‑driven businesses is a strong advantage
