Marine Piping Engineer

Job OverviewThis role focuses on the engineering design and technical coordination of mechanical systems used in marine vessels. The engineer will support the development of ship systems including machinery, piping networks, and equipment installation. Key ResponsibilitiesReview machinery specifications and ensure compliance with technical requirementsInterpret classification rules and engineering standards for vessel constructionSupport design development for ship machinery spaces and equipment layoutsWork with designers and vendors on piping system schematics and equipment installation plansCoordinate interfaces between major ship systems including engines, propulsion and auxiliary systemsParticipate in 3D modelling activities for vessel design and production planningGenerate material take-off lists and installation details for piping systemsRequirementsDegree or diploma in Marine Engineering or Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 5 years of experience in shipyard or marine engineering environmentsFamiliar with ship machinery systems and piping networksExperience with engineering drawings and technical documentationKnowledge of pumps, compressors, valves, and piping componentsProficiency in AutoCAD and engineering software toolsStrong analytical and communication skills
