Job Description
Job SummaryAccomplish System Engineering in product lifecycle to help deliver sensor‑intelligent products and solutions. This role ensures that stakeholder needs are translated into clear system requirements, architecture, integration, verification and validation plan, while balancing technical performance, cost, schedule, risk, and quality. The Systems Engineer works cross-functionally with electronics, mechanical, firmware, optics, manufacturing, quality, and project team to provide robust and reliable sensor solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse stakeholder requirements and translate them into system requirements.Carry out technology analysis to identify possible technology alternatives.Breakdown system into subsystems, determine internal and external technical interfaces.Carry out technical feasibility to evaluate technical risks with collaboration from all technical disciplines.Prepare system specification, verification and validation plan.Conduct design review and design FMEA. Define integration strategy, including decision of the intended platform for manufacturing and assembly.Describe the effect of technical changes via change documentation.Represent technical disciplines and make decisions on technical topics in projects.
Job RequirementsBachelors in Electronics, Mechatronics, System Engineering, Embedded Systems, or any other related field of study.Preferable with more than 3 years of experience in R&D, working in at least 2 full product development cycles. Candidate with application engineering experience who demonstrates good leadership and strong technical expertise in relevant engineering fields and may also be considered.Working understanding of sensor principles and multi-disciplinary interactions.Ability to understand and introduce new technologies and methods into products.Familiar with requirements management tool such as Jama.Basic statistics knowledge for test result analysis.Hands‑on experience with lab instrumentation for troubleshooting.Understanding of product compliance standards and factor them into system requirements.Strong problem-solving and communication skill to collaborate cross-functional engineering teams.Structured, detail‑oriented, and able to escalate risks appropriately.Growth mindset and disciplined documentation habits.
