Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Wellness Hub
Job Description
Pediatric Occupational Therapist — Centre + Product
Wellness Hub | Hyderabad | Full-time, On-site
₹60,000/month | Monday–Saturday, 10 AM–6 PM
About Wellness Hub
Wellness Hub is a multidisciplinary child development practice and technology company. Our team — speech therapists, occupational therapists, behavioral therapists, special educators, and clinical psychologists, working alongside a dedicated tech and design group — builds BASICS, a child development ecosystem that brings structured, expert-designed therapy support into the home.
BASICS combines a parent-facing app, a free practitioner platform, and a teletherapy layer. It turns evidence-based therapy into simple daily activities with clear guidance, demo videos, and adaptations for different developmental needs. Our work was recognized with Google Play's Best App for Good (India) award in 2023, and our tools are used by families and institutions across India and beyond.
About the Role
This is a role for an OT who wants to do two things: deliver excellent hands-on therapy, and shape tools that reach far beyond their own caseload. All work happens within centre hours — no take-home tasks, no evening calls.
At our centre, you will:
- Conduct standardized and informal assessments for children with diverse developmental, sensory, and motor needs
- Design and deliver individualized, goal-based intervention plans
- Deliver online therapy sessions through our teletherapy platform, scheduled within centre hours
- Coach families to carry therapy goals into everyday routines at home
- Document progress and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team for integrated care
On BASICS, you will:
- Contribute clinical expertise to our OT module — spanning fine motor skills, bilateral coordination, sensory processing, motor planning, daily living skills, and more
- Help design, review, and refine home activities, demo videos, and teaching resources so they are safe, effective, and genuinely doable for parents
- Bring insights from your therapy room directly into the product, so what works in the clinic works at home too
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution, with valid registration/licensure as applicable
- 1–2 years of pediatric OT experience; exceptional fresh graduates with strong pediatric training are welcome to apply
- Working knowledge of sensory integration — assessment and treatment of sensory processing challenges
- Experience or training in early intervention for infants, toddlers, and young children with developmental delays
- Strong rapport with children and a family-centered coaching approach with caregivers
- Clear communication and solid documentation habits
- Openness to working with technology-enabled therapy — no prior product experience needed, curiosity is enough
- Commitment to inclusive practice and ongoing professional learning
Compensation & Timings
- ₹60,000 per month
- Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM
- On-site at our Hyderabad centre; all responsibilities, including online sessions and product work, fall within these hours
Why Join Us
Your clinical judgment won't stay inside one therapy room. Every activity you help refine, every adaptation you suggest, reaches families who may never have access to a clinic. You'll work alongside senior practitioners with decades of experience, in a team that treats clinical quality as non-negotiable.
