We are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant who can help build our technology partnership ecosystem, support enterprise RFP pursuits, and establish strategic relationships with leading technology vendors such as Microsoft, Anthropic, Databricks, OpenAI, AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, and other enterprise software providers.
Role OverviewThe Pre-Sales Consultant will play a strategic role in expanding Venus Consultant's consulting practice by driving partner enablement, supporting reseller and solution partner applications, leading proposal development, and collaborating with delivery and sales teams to win enterprise opportunities.
This is a client-facing and partner-facing role requiring strong technical understanding, excellent proposal writing skills, and experience with enterprise procurement and RFP processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Partnerships & Vendor Alliances- Lead initiatives to establish and grow partnerships with Microsoft, Anthropic, Databricks, OpenAI, AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, and other strategic technology vendors.
- Support the application process for Microsoft Solutions Partner designation, CSP/Reseller programs, and similar partner programs.
- Coordinate vendor onboarding, certifications, competency requirements, and compliance activities.
- Maintain relationships with partner account managers and alliance teams.
- Identify co-sell, funding, marketplace, and partner incentive opportunities (e.g., Microsoft ECIF, Azure Innovate, Solution Assessments).
- Work closely with sales teams to qualify opportunities and develop winning solution strategies.
- Design high-level solution architectures for Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, AI, Data & Analytics, and Cloud Transformation engagements.
- Support customer discovery workshops and technical presentations.
- Prepare solution approach documents and implementation strategies.
- Lead end-to-end preparation of enterprise RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.
- Analyze procurement documents and identify compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with SMEs, delivery teams, and technology partners to prepare technical responses.
- Develop solution narratives, implementation methodologies, project plans, assumptions, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure proposals are fully compliant with client requirements and submission guidelines.

- 7+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, bid management, or technology consulting.
- Experience working with Microsoft partners, system integrators, or consulting organizations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise digital transformation projects.
- Microsoft Certified (Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform)
- Microsoft Solutions Partner experience
- Azure Solutions Architect
- Databricks Fundamentals
- AWS or Google Cloud certifications
- PMP or PRINCE2 (preferred)
- Successfully establish strategic partnerships and reseller relationships with key technology vendors.
- Secure Microsoft Solutions Partner designation and other partner accreditations.
- Increase enterprise RFP win rates through high-quality proposal development.
- Build a reusable proposal and knowledge repository.
- Enable Venus Consultant to expand its consulting and implementation capabilities through strategic alliances.

For attracting stronger candidates, I would title it "Strategic Alliances & Pre-Sales Consultant (Microsoft & AI Ecosystem)" or "Partner Enablement & Bid Consultant", as these titles better reflect the seniority and scope of the position.
