About Role:
We are looking for a customer-focused Presales Solution Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Data & AI, Cloud Modernization, and the Microsoft Partner Ecosystem. This role will work closely with sales, Microsoft stakeholders, customers, and delivery teams to shape winning solutions, develop effort estimates, prepare commercial proposals, and support business growth across strategic opportunities.
The ideal candidate brings a balance of technical depth, business acumen, and consultative selling skills, with hands-on experience navigating Microsoft's co-sell motions, partner programs, incentives, and solution-selling landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Consulting & Architecture
- Understand customer business challenges, technical requirements, and desired outcomes.
- Design end-to-end solution architectures leveraging Microsoft Azure, Data, AI, Modern Apps, Infrastructure, Security, and Digital Transformation services.
- Lead discovery workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution assessments.
- Create solution approaches, architecture diagrams, implementation roadmaps, and executive presentations.
- Presales & Opportunity Support
- Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities and shape winning strategies.
- Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, demos, workshops, and RFP responses.
- Develop compelling solution narratives, value propositions, and transformation roadmaps.
- Support proposal development by providing technical responses, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and delivery approaches.
- Estimation & Commercial Planning
- Prepare effort estimates, project plans, staffing models, and implementation timelines.
- Develop Bills of Materials (BOM), Azure consumption estimates, licensing recommendations, and pricing inputs.
- Work with delivery teams to validate scope, assumptions, and resource requirements.
- Ensure estimates are realistic, scalable, and aligned with customer expectations.
- Microsoft Partner & Co-Sell Engagement
- Collaborate with Microsoft account teams, solution specialists, and partner development managers.
- Drive co-sell motions and identify applicable Microsoft funding programs, incentives, and partner benefits.
- Support marketplace opportunities, Azure consumption planning, and joint customer pursuits.
- Stay current on Microsoft solution areas, partner programs, designations, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Knowledge & Practice Development
- Develop reusable solution assets, estimation templates, architecture patterns, and accelerators.
- Contribute to capability development across Azure, Data, AI, and Cloud Modernization service offerings.
- Mentor junior consultants and support internal capability-building initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 6–8 years of experience in Presales, Solution Consulting, Solution Architecture, or Technical Consulting.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, and modernization strategies.
- Experience preparing effort estimates, BOMs, implementation plans, and technical proposals.
- Ability to engage confidently with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working with Microsoft account teams and partner channels.
