Job Responsibilities: Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of medication orders, including verification, preparation and supply of medicationsMonitor and manage discharge medication process to minimize delays and enhance patient satisfactionImplement and review workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce errorsDevelop and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage during all shiftsMonitor workload distribution and adjust staffing as neededMentor and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure performance and adherence to workflowsCoordinate operational training for new staff and ensure ongoing development of all pharmacistsDevelop and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage during all shiftsMonitor workload distribution and adjust staffing as neededMentor and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure performance and adherence to workflowsCoordinate operational training for new staff and ensure ongoing development of all pharmacistsWork closely with nursing teams to improve medication administration processes Lead initiatives to improve medication safetyAddress and resolve medication-related complaints or queries promptly Operational and administrative responsibilitiesEnsure sufficient stock level of medications in inpatient areasOversee the implementation and efficient use of inpatient pharmacy system such as automated dispensing cabinets (ADC)Investigate medication-related incidents and implement corrective and preventive measuresConduct regular team meetings to discuss challenges, share updates, and promote positive work cultures.Implement initiatives to enhance patient’s experience, such as patient educationRegularly review patient’s feedback and address areas for improvement
Job Requirements:Degree in Pharmacy with professional registration.A team player with positive attitude and strong critical thinking skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical skills, with an eye for collecting, organizing, analysing, and disseminating large volumes of information with precision and accuracy.Passion for continuous learning and a self – directed learner.Agile and adaptable, capable of thriving in volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
