Job Description
Job Overview Under the direction of the Director of the Social and Cultural Development Department, the Project Coordinator – Early Childhood will be responsible for managing NTI’s Health Service Integration Fund Project (HSIF) in the area of Early Childhood Development and Education. Primary Responsibilities Write an analysis report summarizing current barriers and challenges in the area. Develop a framework for action to address the identified needs in partnership with the Government of Nunavut departments, Inuit organizations, and other partners or stakeholders as required. Qualifications Self‑starter with highly developed project‑management skills. Robust writing, policy‑analysis, planning, and research skills. Solid leadership skills and the ability to work within a team workplace. Ability to work with demanding deadlines under high levels of stress and the ability to travel. Preference will be given to Inuit who are enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement. Compensation Starting salary is $72,440.00 per annum (commensurate with experience) and a Northern Allowance and Housing Allowance of $24,000.00 per annum.
