Role OverviewThis role demands someone who can build and elevate IGJS Jaipur into a globally respected high jewellery platform, comparable in positioning, curation, and buyer quality to elite boutique shows like Gem Genève.IGJS Jaipur must evolve from a trade show into a curated, high-value global jewellery experience.The Project Director will be responsible for end-to-end conceptualization, positioning, curation, international outreach, and execution of IGJS Jaipur as an exclusive, invitation-driven, high-value B2B show.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Positioning & VisionDefine IGJS Jaipur as a high jewellery, design-led, premium sourcing platform, not a mass trade showDevelop a clear brand identity aligned with luxury, rarity, craftsmanship, and exclusivityBenchmark global boutique shows and continuously refine positioning
- Exhibitor Curation (Core Responsibility)Handpick and curate top-tier exhibitors:High jewellery housesDiamond and gemstone specialistsDesigner brands and ateliersMaintain strict quality control - limited booths, no dilutionBuild a balanced mix of legacy brands
- International Buyer AcquisitionPersonally lead global buyer outreach strategy:UHNW retailersChainstores, Marquee Brands, MajorsLuxury boutiquesEnsure hosted buyer programs with strong ROIBuild relationships with key global markets (US, Europe, Oceania, Middle East, Far East)
- Relationship ManagementAct as the face of the IGJS show internationallyBuild long-term relationships with:Top exhibitorsHigh-value buyersIndustry influencersConduct closed-door meetings, previews, and networking formats
